Uruguay

Small and fiercely independent, Uruguay sits on the estuary of the River Plate, on the East coast of the continent between Argentina and Brasil. Two thirds of its 3.5 million people live in Montevideo, leaving the remaining 69,000 sq mi open for agriculture and forestry.
